Soy Sauce

It’s a powerful, yet soothing track in which Wrcklés creates visual velvet. The smooth tones and melodic vocals conjure images we often forget we have the depth to imagine, let alone experience in this digital age. Shot pre-covid(?is that right?) for his project(album?) “House on Horton Street” starring and directed by the artist himself, Brian Oscar’s “Soy Sauce” reminds us of the precautions we desire. However, we often get lost in the beauty of the present moment, which sometimes causes us to throw precautions to the wind. In this video, Wrcklés uses visual texture, light and asterisk to captivate the audience's imagination to explore interpersonal exchanges.
